How to do it
- Set a bar or handle on the lowest pulley and stand a step back from the machine.
- Hold the handle with an underhand grip and tuck your elbows at your sides.
- Curl toward your shoulders, keeping your upper arms still.
- Lower under control until your arms are straight and the cable is still under tension.
Coaching cues
- Standing slightly back from the pulley keeps tension on at the bottom.
- Keep your torso upright rather than rocking to move the weight.
