How to do it
- Set a rope attachment at about face height and hold one end in each hand with your thumbs back.
- Step back until the cable is taut and stand with a soft split stance.
- Pull the rope toward your face, splitting your hands apart and driving your elbows high and wide.
- Return under control until your arms are straight again.
Coaching cues
- Finish with your knuckles beside your ears and your shoulder blades squeezed.
- Use a moderate weight so you can pull with your back rather than lean away.
