How to do it
- Sit at the cable row with your feet on the platform and a slight bend in your knees.
- Sit tall, grab the handle and let your arms reach forward without letting your back round.
- Pull the handle to your waist by driving your elbows back and squeezing your shoulder blades.
- Return under control until your arms are straight and your shoulder blades reach forward.
Coaching cues
- Keep your torso still, avoid rowing with a big lean back and forward.
- Pause for a beat at the waist to make each rep count.
