How to do it
- Lie on your back with your arms straight up over your shoulders and your knees bent above your hips.
- Press your lower back gently into the floor and keep it there for every rep.
- Slowly lower one arm overhead and the opposite leg toward the floor without touching down.
- Return to the start under control and repeat with the other pair.
Coaching cues
- The moment your lower back lifts off the floor, shorten the reach.
- Breathe out slowly as you extend, that helps keep your ribs down.
