How to do it
- Put your feet on a chair, step or low box and set your hands on the floor under your shoulders.
- Brace your core so your body stays one straight line from heels to head.
- Lower your chest toward the floor with your elbows about 45 degrees from your ribs.
- Press back up while keeping your hips level and your neck long.
Coaching cues
- The higher your feet, the more load goes through your shoulders, so raise the height gradually.
- Come down to a lower surface if your lower back starts to arch.
