Equipment
Pull-up bar
How to do it
- Hang from a pull-up bar with an overhand grip and your shoulders pulled down slightly.
- Brace your core and stop your body from swinging.
- Lift your knees toward your chest by curling your hips up, not just bending your legs.
- Lower slowly under control until your legs hang straight again.
Coaching cues
- Curl your tailbone up at the top, that is what makes the abs work.
- If you start swinging, pause and reset rather than using the swing for the next rep.
