How to do it
- Stand with your feet hip width and a kettlebell on the floor between your arches.
- Push your hips back, bend your knees and grip the handle with both hands, keeping your back flat.
- Brace your core and stand up by driving through the floor and squeezing your glutes.
- Lower the bell back down by pushing your hips back, keeping it close to your legs.
Coaching cues
- Set your back flat before you pull, never round it to reach the handle.
- Raise the bell on a box or books if you cannot reach it with a flat back.
