How to do it

  1. Rack a kettlebell on each shoulder with the bells resting against your forearms and your elbows tucked in.
  2. Stand with your feet a little wider than your hips and brace your core.
  3. Squat down until your thighs are at least parallel, keeping your chest tall and elbows down.
  4. Drive through your whole foot to stand back up.

Coaching cues

  • Keep your wrists straight and your knuckles pointing up so the bells sit comfortably.
  • Start with a single bell held in both hands if two feels unstable.
