How to do it

  1. Rack a kettlebell at shoulder height with the bell resting against the back of your forearm.
  2. Stand tall with your feet hip width, brace your core and squeeze your glutes.
  3. Press the bell overhead until your arm is straight and your bicep is beside your ear.
  4. Lower under control back to the rack position, then repeat and switch sides.

Coaching cues

  • Resist leaning away from the bell, keep both hips level.
  • Keep your wrist straight so the bell sits over your forearm bones.
