How to do it
- Kneel on one knee with the other foot flat on the floor in front of you.
- Tuck your tailbone under and squeeze the glute of the kneeling leg.
- Shift your weight gently forward until you feel a stretch at the front of the kneeling hip.
- Hold for the set time, then switch sides.
Coaching cues
- The tailbone tuck matters more than how far you lean forward.
- Pad your knee with a folded towel or cushion.
