How to do it
- Sit with your legs straight and loop a band around the balls of your feet, holding the ends in your hands.
- Pull the band taut so your toes are drawn back toward you.
- Point your toes away against the band until your ankles are fully extended.
- Return slowly to the start, letting the band stretch your calves.
Coaching cues
- Shorten the band in your hands for more tension.
- Move only at the ankle, keep your knees still.
