How to do it
- Hold a light band with both hands at shoulder width and raise your arms straight in front of your chest.
- Keep your elbows straight but not locked and your shoulders down.
- Pull the band apart until your arms make a wide T and the band touches your chest.
- Return under control to the start without letting the band snap back.
Coaching cues
- Lead the movement with your shoulder blades sliding together.
- Use a light band and higher reps, this is about control rather than load.
