How to do it

  1. Sit on the floor with your legs straight and loop a band around the soles of your feet.
  2. Hold one end in each hand, sit tall and let your arms reach forward.
  3. Pull the handles to your waist by driving your elbows back and squeezing your shoulder blades.
  4. Return under control until your arms are straight again.

Coaching cues

  • Sit tall through the whole rep instead of rocking backwards to pull.
  • Shorten the band or use a stronger one when the reps feel easy.
