How to do it
- Hold a light band in front of your thighs with your hands much wider than your shoulders.
- Keep your arms straight and your ribs down, then raise the band overhead.
- Continue back and down behind you as far as is comfortable, letting the band stretch.
- Reverse the path back to the front and repeat slowly for the set time.
Coaching cues
- Start with a very wide grip and narrow it only as your shoulders open up.
- Keep your elbows straight and stop before you have to arch your back.
