How to do it
- Stand on one foot with your fingertips resting on a wall for balance.
- Press through the ball of that foot to lift your heel as high as possible.
- Pause at the top with your ankle stacked over your foot.
- Lower slowly to the floor, finish the set and switch legs.
Coaching cues
- Stand on a step so your heel can drop below the toes for a full stretch.
- Keep the working knee almost straight so the calf does the work.
