How to do it
- Lie on your back with one knee bent and that foot flat, and lift the other leg off the floor.
- Tuck your ribs down and brace your core.
- Drive through the planted heel to lift your hips until your body is in a straight line.
- Hold the top for a second with your hips level, then lower under control and switch sides after the set.
Coaching cues
- Keep both hips at the same height, do not let the free side drop.
- Bend the free leg and keep the knee tucked toward your chest if the straight leg pulls you crooked.
