How to do it
- Loop a towel around both handles of a securely latched door and hold one end in each hand.
- Stand close with your feet either side of the door and lean back with straight arms.
- Pull your chest toward the door by driving your elbows back and squeezing your shoulder blades together.
- Lower yourself back to straight arms under control.
Coaching cues
- Walk your feet forward and lean back further to make it harder.
- Keep your hips up and your body in one line rather than sitting back into a squat.
