How to do it
- Place your hands on the floor about 30 cm from a wall, shoulder width apart.
- Walk your feet up the wall until your body is close to vertical and your hips stack over your shoulders.
- Push the floor away, squeeze your glutes and keep your ribs down.
- Hold for the set time, then walk your feet back down under control.
Coaching cues
- Start with your hips only part way up and build height over several sessions.
- Come down straight away if your shoulders start to shake or your back arches.
