How to do it

  1. Stand with your back against a wall and walk your feet about two steps forward.
  2. Slide down the wall until your knees are bent to roughly 90 degrees.
  3. Keep your whole back flat against the wall and your knees over your ankles.
  4. Hold for the set time, breathing steadily, then push through your heels to stand up.

Coaching cues

  • Slide a little higher up the wall if your knees complain or your legs give out early.
  • Keep your weight in your whole foot and your hands off your thighs.
